West Kentucky’s Legacy Breeding Farm, L.L.C. welcomes you to our new 171 acre breeding facility. The facility is all fenced and cross fenced in 4 rail white vinyl fencing with loafing sheds and automatic heated waters. We have 3 barns, consisting of: a 8 stall quarantine barn, hay and equipment barn, and a 80 X 300 breeding barn, housing 11 stallion stalls, a laboratory and collection room, office, equine exercise area, 6 state of the art foaling stalls, and a 52 stall mare motel.

Horning Quarter Horses - HH Red Rock is a 1996 red roan stallion by Zippos Mr Good Bar. His dam is a daughter of Sonny Dee Bar. Both Zippos Mr Good Bar and Sonny Dee Bar are in the Hall of Fame. Red Rock is bred for western pleasure and is passing on his great mind, movement and beauty.

Upon entering the stall barn the first sounds you will hear are friendly nickers coming from the stallion's stall. Kevin McGrath of McGrath Quarter Horses, LLC first bred performance quarter horses in the 1980s. After a hiatus from the quarter horse industry, Kevin, with a lot of help from his daughter Vika, and the support of his wife Molly, has returned to breeding quarter horses.
Our first question is always concerns a horse's mind. Our mares are selected so that our eight-year-old can catch, lead, groom, and ride (the broke ones for now, she'll get to train some later, we're sure). Kevin searched for and found two mares that trace back to his breeding program. The first, a mare he raised by Mito Cody, Mitos Magic Moment, is a superior pleasure horse producer. The second, her half-sister, Ms Jerri Wrapper, is a point producer as well. Both mares are out of Kevin's favorite all-time mare, Ms Jerri Jaguar.
Our mares and foals benefit from the great care provided by Nancy-Sue Ryan at Show Stop Farm in Texas, Fields Horses in Walton, Kentucky (Lisa Happe broodmare and breeding manager), and Clear View Farms in Maysville, Kentucky. McGrath Quarter Horses joined many leading breeders in the quarter horse industry by investing in the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund. Superior western pleasure stallion Good Huh and ROM-earning hunter under saddle stallion Million Dollar Luke are owned by McGrath Quarter Horses and stand at Bennie Sargent Quarter Horses in Georgetown, Kentucky.
